1950's Home Sweet Home

I am currently working on my final major project which I have named 1950's Home Sweet Home. This project is inspired by objects which can make a house a home. I want to re-create a 50's style pattern but still have aspects of modern day design. Here are some of my mixed media drawing pages.

A Sailor's Seaside

For my minor project I decided to look at the theme A Sailor's Seaside which is all about the equipment a sailor would use when going to sea.

Wallpaper Final Designs

After completing a few development designs I then went on to design my final wallpaper designs.

This is one of my final designs painted out. I also added a few crystals onto my design to make it glitz and glam.

This is my development layout for my second final design and below is what it looks like painted out also with added crystals.

Wallpaper Designs

For my individual options project I decided to create designs suitable for wallpapers. I called the project 'Perfection' and my inspiration came from the daily routines of women and what they do to try and make themselves look 'perfect'.
